This is the premier collaboration between Bass Mob & Dig iT aL. We thought if we’re going to do it we might as well do it right!

Thus we present to you:

Sub Swara hails from Brooklyn, New York and plays music with a genre-bending bass weight that parallels the depth and diversity of its hometown. Consisting of Dhruva, Dave (Sharmaji) and Haj, with vocalist Juakali, Sub Swara’s music centers on a wide array of influences, from dub to dancehall to hip hop to punk rock to funk and global sounds. Meticulously crafted for both the dancefloor massive and the headspace, Sub Swara’s music unites tribes by bridging gaps across all lines. The crew blends both electronic production and live instrumentation into its recordings and performances, creating an intense, human touch in its modern, electronic sound.

Brendan Angelides is a San Francisco based electronic music producer who records and performs live as Eskmo. His multi-genre compositions have been featured on influential labels like Warp Records and Planet Mu. While Angelides tracks encompass a wide range of electronic styles, he avoids classifications. Bleep.com described his tracks as “Masterfully produced … sophisticated, post-Dilla hiphop funk”. His last single of 2009 entitled “Let Them Sing” on Mu was met with equal praise and described by sites like Boomkat as “[Putting] Eskmo on his own electronic plateau”.

Biography

Living~Stone is an up and coming genre-busting performer. Melding frequencies of dub, dubstep, hip hop, glitch hop, mid-tempo and more into a sonic experience Living~Stone likes to call Bass Culture. As a member of Dig.iT.aL, Living~Stone collaborates with artists and musicians throughout North America, Europe, and where ever people can be found that truly Dig iT aLL.

He can be found playing dubstep and other bass music at dubstep and electronic music events around Montreal, Eastern Canada and beyond. This year Living~Stone played multiple sets at Eastern Canada’s prestigious Evolve Festival’s 10th year anniversary, as well as for Montreal’s #1 outdoor party playground Piknic Electronik alongside UK badboys Skream & Benga. Recognized anywhere he plays as a legit badman, 2010 promises to be his biggest year yet. Already started at Igloofest opening Noisia.

He’s behind the booth but there is no division between him and the dance floor. His IS the dance floor.
