Biography
Mac Manus started in 1999 by creating “Positiv Sound”, one of the only dnb organisation in north of France. He learned his producer/organizer skills while running the label X-Ray Production for 4 years.
During that period of time he organized many partys in the north of France and acquired a lot of contacts with other labels and organizations.
Remo began studying music at the conservatory, then musicology at university. That’s where his passion for contemporary experimental music started.
Listening to electro, hardtech, dnb, and hiphop. Remo participated in several projects, like Essem collective, where he continues to explore experimental music and mixing it with projections. He also participated in an hardteck project with David Kéta : Kéta+Rémo.
In 2000, he met Mac Manus, and their common musical orientations brought the two producers together to create their own live band and to produce psytrance. But with all their influences, in particular the hiphop & electro culture, they also began to create dubstep music.
Collaborating Lord J he founded “Hungry Studio” collective (voice and sounds production) at the end of 2009.
Yanneck is doing MAO for 7 years now. As a sound engineer, he loves producing and working at his home studio.
Big hiphop and electronic music fan, he began producing in 2003 at Lille (France), and doing a lot of informal collaborations at first.
Featuring on some projects like “Métropologix” dnb compilations (X-Ray Production). Member of the band “Enfants 2la Basse”, he actively collaborates with the MC “Paranoyan”.
He’s also developping his home studio activities, and records numerous hiphop, reggae, and ragga MC’s.
Today Mac Manus, Remo and Yanneck are proud to presents their new and first EP together, called “Stalking Music & Nu Formez” on Monkey Dub Recording.
