 Biography
For Operative it has always been about the Bass !
Since the day he brought his first set of technics 1200′s and a DR-550 drum machine, He was hooked! Taking the time to journey thru a multitude of genres, ranging from classic oldskool dub and triphop thru to dnb, dubstep, ambient and even house and techno. If it sounded phat, he played it !
But the desire to produce and draw from all of his earlier influences and forge them into his own unique sound, was to strong and from then on every spare minute was then dedicated to learning about these frequencies. A certificate and diploma in audio engineering later and Operative has finally started to unleash the tunes that have been stuck in his head.
With a string of dubstep and dnb releases set for 2010, and future projects and co-labs already in motion, the future looks a busy one for Operative.
