Biography

Reality started his venture into the world of electronic music very young in Victoria, BC, Canada.

Turned on to it through internet radio, he began to listen closely to the emerging underground sounds and developed a particular attraction to drum & bass and trip hop as his tastes refined. He began to discover the local scene, and quickly became as involved as possible. He supported events with volunteering, promotional graphic design and eventually began working full time selling records at downtown Victoria’s central DJ and record store. Naturally, his incredible love for music created the inspiration to self express; and that inspiration became a Reality.

Focusing on edgy, fresh and forward thinking bass driven sounds from the future, he developed and harnessed his own juicy flavor as he became a popular local producer and DJ. Growing and gaining recognition, it was time to move on and expand from Vancouver island.

Discovering Montreal, Quebec, Reality sparked the notable interest of grime and future garage legend Intoccabile; who pulled him into the local scene and became a valuable musical mentor. Recently identified by Bass Drive residents Vilify and Construct, rocking crowds and getting an EP officially signed by Montreal’s own Monkey Dub Recording; Reality is accelerating faster every minute and doesn’t plan on ever slowing down for one second.
