Soul Soldier

Biography

Born on the 19th of September in 1982 at Avignon (France), Soul Soldier, of his given name Thibaud Fages, left the south where he was raised and moved to Paris in 2001. It’s in the capital that with his partner Surèdj that he moved forward on his project “D-AXE”, jungle tekno live machine formation.

Strong of this experience, he decided to pursue as a solo production career, and it is in 2006 that he signed his fist title “ragga jungle” with Toxic Records, the third release for the label. Follows, the digital release on InDaJungle Recording (IDJREC049) with the tracks “Bad Gyal” and “Lil ‘Boy Guetto”.

After that, Toxic decided to devote to him a two title on 7inch and developed their “HORS SERIE” branch for the first time. Only one artist was honered.

Soon after, Thibaud discovered dubstep, associated again with Toxic. That way, it is in november 2007 that appears the second historic release french dubstep (HS003), with the artists Caterva, Rancor, +2h-2n and him self.

He founded the label Initial Dub Records with his partner Dogboy kelu and signed in 2008 their first digital release from that label with Mr. Casual and Hubwar.
